Stones from the Continental Divide (On a small trail leading from the highway, at the apex, I looked down to see this round fire-marked stone neatly broken in two. Amazed at the perfect micro-representation of the continent and its divide, I picked them up to find the small sliver of rock that fits neatly precisely in between them. The place where we stand at the edge.)
