Jeanne Hewell-Chambers:
i don’t know what you intended, why you created this altar, but what strikes me is water and land, male and female, inside/outside. polarities, full spectrum. it’s intriguing, and like @sunny, something tugs at me, keeps me looking.
Karen Wohl:
Jeanne I can’t exactly say that I *intended* anything, quite. There were some not-completely-articulable feelings and awarenesses in me that kind of bubbled up when I thought “hmm, what should today’s altar be” that just seemed to want the shell and the peacock feather there. I hadn’t put words to these feelings and awarenesses, although your words are really pretty much right on with what I was expressing. It’s cool that you intuitively picked up on it.
Teresa it’s funny, I started with the peacock feather eye on top and the cowrie shell on the bottom, but somehow it didn’t feel right. I had to play around with it a while before things seemed to kind of settle into place this way.
Sunny and Jeanne and Teresa, thank you for how you are all responding to these. It’s wonderful to feel your resonance echoing back to me, when I put these photos up.
